El más antiguo de los bocetos pintados, al menos de momento, en este caso con la linea del dibujo conservada. Originalmente era un boceto de un personaje en un proyecto que nunca llegó a producirse. Supuestamente era una chica moderna, urbanita, segura de sí misma y muy amante de la fiesta, raves concretamente. Realmente pinté la figura como una prueba para irme acostumbrando al medio digital, y como me gustó el resultado tiempo después decidí icluirle un fondo, esbozado y rayado para quitarle un poco la sensación técnicamente fría que me daba la figura sin quitarle el protagonismo a ésta.

The oldest of the painted sketches, at least for the time being, in this case with the line of the drawing included. It started as a sketch of a character in a project that never saw the light. Supposedly she was a modern, urbanite, self-confident girl, very party-loving girl: raves specifically. I really painted the figure as a trial to get myself used to the digital media, and as i liked the result i later decided to put a background to it, sketchy and streaky to take out the technically cold felling the figure gave me without taking its importance in the illustration.

Otro boceto antiguo, dibujado de hecho el mismo día que el anterior, que me ha merecido la pena pasar a color también. En este caso mi pretensión era respresantar una vida idílica sin caer en el tópico fácil de la casita en la montaña, y además con claras referencias asiáticas, sin caer tampoco en Kimonos y demás. Por otro lado he querido experimentar también con colores y sombras planas. Mi pintura digital favorita hasta el momento.

Another old sketch, drawn in fact the same day as the last one, that has been worth for me to put in colour aswell. In this case my pretense was to represent an idyllic life without falling in the easy cliche of the little house at the mountains, and with clear asian references, without falling in Kimonos and what not. I have also wanted to experiment with flat colours and shadows. My favourite digital painting so far.

Después de tener este blog olvidado durante mucho tiempo he decidio rescatarlo y... ¡Qué mejor imagen que una ilustración hecha a partir de un viejo boceto igualmente rescatado! Lo cierto es que el boceto en sí tenía ya más de un año cuando hará cosa de un mes lo reencontré (junto con otros), y me dispuse a pintarlo; además teniendo en cuenta que es mi primera obra pintando "en serio" con el photoshop, estoy muy satisfecho.

After having this blog forgotten for quite a long time i have decided to rescue it and... What better image than an illustration made from an equally rescued old sketch! Truth is, the sketch was over a year old when about a month ago i rediscovered it (along with some others), and started painting it. Plus, considering it's my first work painting "seriously" with photoshop, i am very satisfied.

La primera entrada con un título que merece la pena mencionar. Tinta india, acuarela, gouache, lápiz de color y muchas horas de angustia y sufrimiento. Espero que el resultado sea de vuestro gusto.

The first post with a title worth mentioning. Indian ink, watercolor, gouache, color pencils and a lot of hours of anguish and suffering. I hope you like the result.
